Documenta 0: The Broadsheet 

A theatrical game and archive based on the history of
Caliban and the Witch (Silvia Federici); Discipline and Punish (Micheal Foucault), using thinking and system of game, participatory performance, and editorial design method.

    Idea of Broadsheet/Archive & Propoganda
    Represents different pathway that player can possible outcome of each player.  They can edit and collage the truth that they designed and collected. As they colect pages, they are weaving the character with their ways of exploration and embodiment.

    Character cards:

    Private information about the character. Questions, responsibilities, and agency.




    Character initial clue:
    Each player has 5 initial clue about themselves, including 1 false clue. This can be exchanged during the game.

    Ability:

    Abilities of characters specific to the social role and background setting.

    The detailed story of what happens to each character. Weave all thread together in logical sequence to understand the full picture of your actions. 3 in total.

    Match Truth:

    The action that happens in market, host ask 5 questions about truth of the incident, you need to get the previous question right to proceed. 


    Interaction with host 
    Symbolizes for collective truth and justice. Even you have all evidence there’s still a change to fail to answer questions about ‘objective truth’.

    Clue pool:

    (designed to put in sleeves for easy hold and agency to edit and organize)

    This can be obtained each night or as exchange.
    There are false clues in the public clue pool.




    White and Red loops:
    Given by players to each other when meet at the same place.
    White=trust (give palm)
    Red=suspect (raise hand)
    3 red=accused



    The stake of fire:
    Player with 3 red loops will be put on stake of fire, the player will be burned if the collective vote is more or equal to the half amount of the total players. 



    Body movement:
    Player moves to a place each round, it creates theartical pattern based on character tension, who they want to interact with. (hunting down or exchaning information)
    Tension of direction that players choose to move towards suggests their purpose and desire. Hand and arm gestures are used to symbolize trust or suspect.
